Welcome to Cherché Whippets located on One Day Farms, five acres approximately 60 
miles east/northeast of Atlanta, GA.

    Our dogs are first and foremost members of our family and live as house companions. My husband, David and I currently live with 6 Whippets and 1 chicken. We are considered a hobby breeder and focus on breeding dogs for ourselves to show and run. Because our whippets are members of our family health testing and sound temperaments are top priorities for us. My mother, Glenda, started Cherché in 1984 as a hobby for my 4-H school project  She is no longer as active in shows and field trials but is always there for our support.  We value her experience and knowledge of the breed. Since 1994, I have shared my passion for whippets and breeding with my best friend, Crystal McNulty of Hycks Hollow Whippets in Illinois.

    Most of our dogs are dual purpose . . . from conformation to field we enjoy every venue! Over the years we have owned and/or bred numerous AWC National, AWC Regional and Independent Specialty Best in Show winners, a AWC Top 20 and Peoples Choice winner, 4 AWC Futurity Winners (2 of those were Mother & Son) and several Top 20 conformation ranked dogs, as well as, a select number of Top 20 Lure Coursing whippets, one of which is in the ASFA Hall of Fame.  On December 3, 2010 we bred our first MACH 2 (Agility) titled whippet!!.  We have one ARX titled whippet and one that needed 2 points for her ARX but due to an injury in the yard at home was unable to compete any more.
