We feel that since Cole's father is no longer with us we thought it might be important to share Cole, who is one of the few Jacob sons around. 

Cole was a very promising young man. 

Cole was a red hot dog on the Lure Coursing Field . . . finishing his ASFA Fch in 3 trials with Best in Fields.  He then began running at AKC trials.  He acquired two 5 point majors his first 2 times out and at his 3rd trial he acquired 2 points giving him a total of 12 points.  His 4th AKC trial ended his lure coursing and show career - Cole almost severed his Achilles tendon completely into in the final run.  He remained lame on this leg for many years. 

At the time of his injury Cole had just started his show career.   At one of his first dog shows he won Best of Breed over specials for a major under whippet breeder/judge Carol Curry.

Unfortunately we lost Cole today - December 5, 2007.  He was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma several weeks ago.  He was only 9 years old!  God Speed Cole!
